Our Ten Guiding Principles

  1. In our third generation as a family-run business, we intend to stay a family enterprise. This is reflected in how our company is run: lean structures, fast decision-making, open doors and being able to listen.
  2. Our actions are guided by our customers and the market. We are driven by their wishes and needs.
  3. Striving to innovate determines how we think. We work closely with research institutions to develop solutions which benefit from the most advanced knowledge.
  4. Solving problems before they occur: We contribute ideas and can apply decades of experience to meeting your specific needs.
  5. Quality is an overriding principle in all areas: our products, consulting, fulfillment, and logistics.
  6. We avoid bureaucracy and are exceptionally flexible as a result. We make decisions without unneeded hierarchies and related bureaucracy.
  7. Key accounts are more important to us than one-off business. We prefer to work as partners in an atmosphere of trust and cooperation.
  8. Our employees are our present and our future. We share a mutual obligation. We promote but also place expectations – fairly, in a considerate atmosphere, openly and as partners.
  9. We want to retain our market share and grow. But only while meeting our own high expectations regarding quality, rationality, economic efficiency and spirit of mutual respect.
  10. ROMA is and will remain what customers have grown accustomed to: a guarantee of quality.
